Pink Heather Peak District Sunrise at Carl Wark

I was hoping to get a few photographs of the heather in the Peak District and this was a new location for me - Carl Wark in the Peak District National Park. Actually designated as a bronze age hill fort (although don't imagine there is a lovely structure there akin to Game of Thrones) the site has some lovely grit-stone formations typical of the Dark Peaks. On this morning the pre-dawn pink hues of the sky were a very nice complement to the lilac shades of the heather in full bloom.
