The Dark Hedges
I've always wanted to visit this avenue of beech trees which is a well known attraction in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Bit of wiki type information here - the trees were were planted around 1750 by the Stuart family and they are now officially preserved. I was surprised that they were on a public highway and cover quite a small area but I enjoyed a relatively peaceful hour taking photos. I suspect that they would get very busy in the summer months. Well worth a visit.
